Scientists for Sustainable Solutions

At the Consortium for Sustainable Development Inc., we are a nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status in the United States. Our goal is to foster the sustainable social and economic well-being of people and the restoration, protection, and sustainable use of terrestrial and marine ecosystems, on which human well-being depends. We believe this goal can be realized only through sustainable partnerships and cooperation with governments, institutions, and civil societies, and the judicious use of science, traditional knowledge, and technologies. 

At its core, sustainable development seeks to balance the needs of the present with the needs of future generations. It recognizes that economic, social, and environmental concerns are interconnected and that addressing them holistically is essential for creating a more prosperous and equitable world.

Nuestro objetivo es fomentar el bienestar social y económico sostenible de las personas y la restauración, protección y uso sostenible de los ecosistemas terrestres y marinos, de los que depende el bienestar humano.
